For over 50 years, our Community Center has been more than just a venue. It is a cornerstone of Grand Haven’s downtown and a place for the community to make meaningful connections. Unique Meeting Spaces
Whether you are looking to host a business event, cocktail hour, conference, or award ceremony, our venue accommodates gatherings of all sizes (up to 450 people). Our building also offers a unique blend of meeting and event space, from a 180+ seat theatre to our spacious Mackinaw Ballroom and outdoor patio (perfect for warm weather company cocktail hours or food trucks).
State-of-the-Art Technology
This past June, our Mackinaw Ballroom received a significant A/V upgrade, featuring three new projectors and screens, touch screen capabilities, Bluetooth connectivity, and additional microphones for multiple presenters. These enhancements will enable seamless presentations or panel events for a more engaging experience for your attendees.

Centrally located in Grand Haven, Central Park Place offers free parking behind the building and adjacent lot, making it easy for your guests to attend. Additionally, our venue is fully handicap accessible, ensuring all your attendees can enjoy the event comfortably.
Flexible Scheduling
While summer is our busy season, we often have rooms available during regular business hours all year round. Our Raritan Room, Escanaba Room, and Woodbine Room are all great spaces to hold meetings, networking events, and more!
Catering Kitchen Add-On
Our Mackinaw Ballroom has a large catering kitchen that allows our guests to choose their own caterer and beverage service company. It features a service window, ample counter and prep spaces, a dishwasher, sinks, and refrigerators. On the lower level, our Escanaba Room is also attached to a small, galley catering kitchen, which makes event food and beverage service a breeze!
