City Beach
Grand Haven City Beach is a sandy, accessible wedding venue located between Noto’s at the Bil-Mar Restaurant and the Grand Haven State park. Just a short distance from downtown Grande Haven, City Beach offers convenient access with ample nearby parking making it an ideal choice for guests of all ages and mobility levels. The wide, open sandy expanse provides an unobstructed view of the Grand Haven South Pierhead Outer Lighthouse, creating a picturesque backdrop for your ceremony without the difficulty of navigating challenging terrain. Central Park
Located across the street from Central Park Place, Central Park features lush greenery, flowers, and a large fountain. Adjacent to the Loutit District Library and Ottawa County Courthouse—and just a short walk from Downtown Grand Haven—the park sits at the civic core of the city, providing an incredibly elegant backdrop for any wedding celebration.
Indoor
The Mackinaw Ballroom offers a blank canvas for your ceremony, allowing you to create a wedding limited only by your imagination. The space also features access to our enclosed outdoor patio, providing a food truck-friendly gathering space with spectacular views of Central Park.

Q: How can I check which spaces are available for our desired wedding date?
A: Check out our new online calendar! The calendar shows what has already been booked for specific days and times and allows you to book directly through our website. A member of our team will connect with you to confirm the booking. If you need further assistance, you can also give us a call at (616) 842-2550.
Q: What is the deposit and payment schedule for room rentals?
A: To secure a reservation, you must pay for half of the rental fee at the time of signing. The second half will be due 30 days before your event. A refundable damage deposit is also due with your second payment. Payment for any add-on amenities is due 30 days before your wedding or event. Rates are based on residency, whether alcohol will be served, and other variables. City residents get reduced rates because they support the operation of the facility through their tax dollars. Please note that city residents are individuals with a 49417 zip code and a 3 or 4-digit street address. If you have a 5-digit street address, you are considered a Grand Haven Township resident.
Q: What is the maximum capacity of rooms within Central Park Place?
A: Our Mackinaw Ballroom can accommodate up to 240 people in a banquet-style setting. The Ballroom also includes access to our fenced-in Front Porch area (alcohol allowed). The Fountain Patio Space (no alcohol allowed) can also be added as an outdoor gaming and photo area. For smaller weddings, we also offer additional rentable spaces.
Q: Does Central Park Place offer onsite parking for guests?
A: Yes! We offer parking at the back of our building (handicap/wheelchair accessible), street parking, or at the parking lot adjacent to our building. All parking is free.
Q: Is Central Park Place wheelchair accessible? Can accommodations be made for guests with special needs?
A: Yes! The parking lot at the back of the building connects directly to the building with touch-to-open doors, elevator access, and handicapped bathroom stalls. Additionally, feel free to let us know what accommodations you will need for your guests so that we can make any necessary arrangements.
