Wine About Winter Returns to Grand Haven Main Street on January 16

Grand Haven, MI – Grand Haven Main Street Downtown Development Authority (DDA) invites the community to raise a glass and celebrate winter at the 16th Annual Wine About Winter event on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM.

This beloved winter tradition features a curated selection of wines ranging from bold reds to crisp whites, offering something for every palate. Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to stroll Grand Haven’s heated sidewalks and experience the warmth, charm, and vitality of Downtown and Centertown during the heart of winter.

Event Details

This year’s event includes 18 wine tasting venues. There will be 4 locations in Centertown and 14 Downtown. Additional stops will offer specials, snacks, or non-alcoholic beverages.

Participants can purchase a $25 wine glass and ticket bundle at Fortino’s. $5 wine glass and $4 tasting tickets can be purchased on the night of the event at:

  • Harborfront Place
  • Fortino’s
  • Borr’s Shoes
  • The Book Cellar

To help guests make the most of visiting both neighborhoods, Harbor Transit will provide convenient transportation between Downtown and Centertown throughout the event. Pick-up and drop-off locations will be available at the same locations where wine glasses and tickets are sold, making it easy to catch a ride and enjoy everything Wine About Winter has to offer.

Central Park

Located across the street from Central Park Place, Central Park features beautiful greenery, flowers, and a large fountain to create the perfect backdrop for any ceremony.
